Prior to coming on board with the ACPA, Grayson was the Director of Operations as the Texas Deer Association and brings years of political and public relations to the position.

“I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and working with Grayson in two formal capacities – through the Texas Deer Association and through a partner company Graytower Media,” said Patrick Tarlton, TCPA Executive Director. “During that time, Grayson proved his ability to lead a department with multiple employees under his guidance, manage complicated ongoing tasks, lead projects assigned to him, and most importantly, he understood his role as a valued team member. Grayson is one of the brightest young men I know. He is a strong-willed and hardworking individual, who carries the work ethic and attitude that will make him one heck of a resource for region.”

While at the Texas Deer Association, Grayson Huskey worked alongside the association’s lobbying and political teams to help shape legislative policy on behalf of the association’s members. As a forward-thinking political and public relations professional, Grayson knows firsthand the importance of empathy and attentiveness in building relationships through effective communication with association members and government officials.

“I’m excited to join the American Concrete Pipe Association,” said Huskey, a Texas native.  “I look forward to moving forward the ACPA’s mission and supporting our members in this critical region.  Our members have already laid the foundation for a strong concrete pipe market and I look forward to leveraging my previous experience to further our reach politically and to ensure the region has a strong, durable, and sustainable future.”

As the South Central Region Director, Grayson will support the ACPA strategic plans, aiming to increase Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) and Precast Box Culvert’s market share in the public sector, while ensuring those products are favorably specified across the region.  In addition, he will provide a national presence at the state level, enabling producing members to communicate industry expectations to state DOT’s, municipalities, and federal agencies on the many advantages of precast pipe and box culverts.

Grayson received his bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of North Texas in 2015. When Grayson is not working, he enjoys spending time outdoors and training for triathlons.
